I’ve had one of those weeks when it feels like I’ve been in the kitchen, a lot. There has been some cleaning out of cupboards (lots more to go though!), a strange compulsion to put some of our dried food into jars, baking and a whole heap of apple dehydrating.
Something I’ve been doing lately is forcing myself to cook new dinner recipes out of our cookbook collection and writing a fortnightly meal plan on the kitchen chalk board. It seems to work really well and I can plan well ahead for ingredients, which I like.
