I’m so happy that I decided to do this Weekend in Stockholm blanket as I’m really enjoying the process. I threw these squares on the lawn yesterday to show you how it’s all coming together – they’re in no particular order, except for the block of nine that I’ve already joined.
These are the squares that I’ve blocked and there are a big pile of them sitting in my craft space that are waiting to be done, plus a heap more that are waiting to have their final edge of cream added. Because we’ve all been sick this last week, there has been a lot more crochet time, so I’m well ahead of my blanket schedule.
But, I also decided something a bit crazy this week – I’m going to keep going with this blanket and turn it into queen size. This means my 100 square total has jumped up to a huge 225, gulp. I’m still aiming to have this finished by the end of the year, it will just mean more perseverance, a lot more perseverance!!
At the end of this week I’m going to count up all my completed squares and work out a new plan, so that I’m sure to stay on track and have this finished by Christmas time. Fingers crossed anyhow.
