Lately my tootsies have been feeling a bit chilly in the evenings and when a pattern for these Nola Slippers popped up in my Ravelry feed recently, I knew that I had to cast myself on a pair.
So happy that I did because they’re a perfect fit, warm, snuggly and just in time for winter. The pattern is a freebie and I used some more yarn from my stash, a Cascade 220 (10 ply) held double while knitting, so they’re extra squishy and thick. The pattern was nice and straight forward, incase you’re thinking of casting on a pair for yourself – they were a fast knit too.
These have been on my feet every night for a good week now and so far there hasn’t been any stretch and they’re wearing really well. I’d really like to knit up a few pairs for the Christmas present stash, so fingers crossed that I action this!
I’ve popped my needle size, etc.. over on my Ravelry project page, if you’d like any more details.
Happy making to you for the upcoming weekend, it’s definitely good weather for it down here in Tasmania.
